Hi my name is Emma Fisher and I run a small independent design studio called Folded Side Project in North East Essex.

I have over 10 years experience working as a fashion designer, before relocating to the Essex countryside where I now focuses on making slower, more sustainable products.

My folded paper lights, lamp shades and decorations are handmade using beautiful high quality FSC-Certified papers and natural materials.

I take my inspiration from origami, architecture and geometric forms and I have a love for design, art, colour, shape, light and shadow.

I run workshops in paper folding, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love to help others to create something beautiful for their home.
